WHO WE ARE

Keller Development Group (KDG) is a privately held investment company located in Utah. Our team is focused on the acquisition, development, and renovation of both multifamily and student housing properties within the western United states.

WHAT WE DO

We target both small and large properties located in emerging and underserved markets. Our primary objective is to add value through professional asset management, optimal financing, renovation, development, and management. The result is to turn underperforming assets into reliable sources of cash flow and wealth creation for our partners, and enhance the housing experience for our residents.

KDG co-invests with investors seeking the wealth creation and wealth preservation characteristics real estate provides, such as:

 

  • Cash Flow – reliable cash flows, monthly or quarterly, providing consistent and predictable returns. 

 

  • Equity Growth – a two-way benefit to investors through first, asset appreciation and second, amortization of the loan.  While the asset increases in value, the principal balance of the mortgage decreases, the spread between the two creates equity growth.

 

  • Tax Efficiency – allowing investors to shield much of the income from taxes, through depreciation tax benefits.

 

  • Stable Performance – all while enjoying the first three benefits, the peace of mind that your investment is tied to a tangible asset you can see, touch, and know it still exists through financial crisis, i.e. a stock market crash. Real Estate assets do not disappear like a paper instrument and can be insured, like a home.

 

  • 1031 Exchanges – a popular way to defer capital gains tax through this widely used tax strategy.  Roll your capital gains in with KPG and increase your financial compounding power. 

 

Further, KDG principals will contribute a considerable investment amount in each deal to align interests within the partnerships.
